Spring Morning

Walking to work today I came across this kitten enjoying his view.  I think the only thing he was missing was a cup of coffee.

My husband noticed a tray of ice that formed on top of a bucket the other day…I quickly grabbed my camera and had some fun for the few minutes that it lasted! Ice crystals are sooo cool!

My husband and I took a walk today in search of early fall pictures…and he wanted to practice his ‘survival’ skills…yeah, he’s been watching a bit too much Man Vs. Wild.

Anyway, we came across a hill that’s eroded enough to display these lovely tree roots with freshly fallen leaves to add a splash of color.

Nature is a true gift.

Finally! I was up early enough to capture the sunrise on Lake Chatauqua…what a gorgeous site to see! It was so peaceful and when the sun peeked out over the hill, it was so warm and comforting. I couldn’t think of a better way to begin the last day of summer vacation!

That glorious time of year again…all the spring and summer weddings are about to sprout up all around us. I had the pleasure of shooting the pictures for my brother’s wedding a couple weeks ago and what a blast! I’m really beginning to enjoy the work of shooting weddings, the chance to be creative and join in on one of the bride & groom’s most precious days of their lives…what a blessing! I hope you get to witness a moment of matrimony this season! And I hope my brother and new sister-in-law enjoy years of happiness and LOVE.
