The leaves have only been gone a few weeks and I miss them already! Fall is so beautiful…yet we know what lies ahead…winter. I have to admit…I’d be happy if it snowed right now because at least it would be beautiful again. The grey skies we’ve had so much of lately are getting old…quick. Let’s hope for some relief, soon.

I know…it’s November and I’m posting a picture of a flower I shot months ago. Well, things have been pretty crazy for me lately so I haven’t been able to shoot much. I’m hoping I can get out real soon! Hope everyone enjoyed their fall and are looking forward to the holidays!

I took some portraits of two young sisters on the beach last week…the oldest is 4 and her little sister is just 1. How adorable are little feet?

Last weekend, my family and I visited Cook Forest in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania. It was the first time my husband & I have slept in a tent in numerous years…the beauty that surrounded us made it all worth while! We plan to go back again in October when the leaves will be changed into beautiful reds and oranges.

I was at the peninsula when, to my dismay, the clouds rolled over the sunset once again…but…I waited…long enough for the sun to peak down out of the clouds again and present a gift to me. I thought, ‘My, how great God is…’

This cutie is a real miracle…born four months premature at just 2 lbs! She’s one of the cutest little girls you could lay your eyes on…and she’s my niece! What a lucky family we are!

Well, to celebrate the kids’ first full day of summer vacation, we took a Mid-Day Break at the Erie Art Museum. They plan on holding this event every Wednesday through the summer, allowing art lovers like us to enter for free! It was fun and we got lots of ideas and inspiration!

If you’re interested in capturing images of the beautiful tulips all around town, you better do so quickly. They appear to be wilting more and more each day. Spring is quite beautiful but just as with each season, it doesn’t last forever.
